Nwabueze Internal Medicine and Primary Care Clinics was established in 1999 as a team effort between Dr. Nwabueze and The West Feliciana Parish Hospital to provide high-quality specialty medical care to Baton Rouge, Jackson, LA, East and West Feliciana as well as surrounding parishes. The mission of the practice is: 1) to provide superior care second to none; 2) to manage chronic diseases; 3) to prevent disease and disability; and 4) to keep the Felicianas healthy.

Our Physician

Dr. Nnamidi Nwabueze, MD – Internal Medicine and General Practice

Dr. Nnamdi Nwabueze was born in Enugu, Nigeria where he attended medical school. He obtained his MBBS from the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital in 1989. Dr. Nwabueze later moved to Trinidad and Tobago where he completed his internship and worked for many years in both medicine and surgery. In 1994, Dr. Nwabueze moved to the United States for further training. Dr. Nwabueze completed his residency at Nassau County Medical Center, Long Island New York. Dr Nwabueze is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Primary Care or General Medicine and has also completed one year of fellowship training in Nephrology (kidney disease). In 1999, Dr. Nwabueze moved to Louisiana to partner with West Feliciana Parish Hospital to provide superior medical care to Jackson, LA, the Felicianas and surrounding parishes.

Dr. Stacie Nwabueze, PhD – Administrator, Counselor and Evaluator

Dr. Stacie Nwabueze is the wife of Dr. Nnamdi Nwabueze. She is License Rehabilitation Counselor in the State of Louisiana and holds two national certifications with the Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification (CRCC), as both a Rehabilitation Counselor and as an Evaluator. Dr. Nwabueze provides Developmental, Educational and Disability Evaluations as well as other disability related services. Dr Nwabueze, also serves as the Clinical Administrator for both facilities.
